Your brows will appear darker, bolder, and slightly larger immediately after your appointment. This is completely normal and typically lasts 3–7 days. Mild redness, swelling, or tenderness may occur and usually subsides within 24–48 hours. As your brows heal, they may flake, peel, and appear lighter before the color gradually settles. Full healing takes approximately 6–8 weeks. Aftercare Instructions Proper aftercare is essential for the best healed results. Immediately After Your Appointment For the first hour, gently blot your brows every 5 minutes with a clean tissue to remove lymph fluid and help minimize scabbing. Within 2 hours, wash your brows using the recommended aftercare cleanser: Wash your hands. Gently cleanse the brows with a small amount of cleanser and water. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean paper towel. Apply a very thin layer of aftercare balm. Days 1–10 Wash your brows morning and night. Apply a rice grain-sized amount of balm between both brows morning and night. Keep brows dry except for cleansing. Avoid sweating, saunas, hot tubs, swimming, and excessive moisture. Do not pick, scratch, or peel any flaking skin. Days 1–14 Avoid makeup, skincare products, shampoo, conditioner, and other cosmetics on the brow area. Avoid direct sun exposure and wear a hat outdoors. Healing Expectations Flaking and light peeling are normal. Once peeling is complete, your brows may appear very light or patchy. This is a normal stage of healing. Color will gradually return as the skin heals. Your touch-up appointment can be completed once healing is finished, typically after 6–12 weeks. Long-Term Care Wear SPF on healed brows to help prevent fading. Avoid applying retinols, acids, peels, and exfoliating products directly on the brows. Inform any laser treatment provider that you have cosmetic tattooing, as laser procedures can affect pigment retention. Following these instructions carefully will help ensure the best possible healed results.

A consultation is necessary for us to see the previous work you already have and if we are able to go over it. Microblading /nano brows will not show up over heavily saturated brows. We prefer to have the previous work very faded, or removed, before working on top of it.

If your brows don't heal exactly as expected the first time, don't worry—your touch-up appointment is designed to refine and perfect your results.

To ensure the best healed results, avoid activities that cause excessive sweating for the first 10 days after your PMU brow appointment. Sweat contains salt, which can irritate the healing skin and affect pigment retention. Light exercise is permitted as long as sweating is kept to a minimum. If your brows do become sweaty, gently rinse them with lukewarm water as soon as possible and follow your aftercare instructions. For optimal healing, avoid intense workouts, hot yoga, saunas, steam rooms, and other activities that may cause excessive perspiration during the initial healing period.
