Whether it's your first time or your fifth time, being ready and prepared for your lash appointment can save you time, money, and will give you better results!
Here are some tips and best practices from the professionals on what you can do (or not do) before your lash appointment:
Avoid consuming caffeine at least 4 hours prior to your appointment. When you have an active amount of caffeine in your system, it can cause your eyes to flutter. This makes it difficult for the artist to perform the lash service properly.
Remove any eye makeup. Coming in with a clean orbital area cuts down on time that the artist would need to spend removing any mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, or undereye concealer. If you wear any of these to your appointment, the product can hinder the result of your lash lift or inhibit a perfect bond between your natural lash and an extension.
Wear comfortable clothing. No need to dress up for us! We want you to be relaxed and take a “lash nap,” if you feel so inclined. We are only checking your eyelashes and not your outfit! ;)
Feel free to bring headphones. We are firm believers that every service should benefit you in any way that will make you comfortable and relaxed, so if you would like to listen to your own music or a podcast, you are welcome to use headphones during your service. We do play relaxing and fun music in the studio for everyone to enjoy!
Plan to arrive a few minutes early to your scheduled appointment. This will ensure that you have some time to get comfortable, use the restroom beforehand, or grab a snack or drink if you’d like! Arriving late could mean that we need to skip some steps of your lash service, which we always want to avoid to ensure that you receive the best end-results.

We also encourage you to bring pictures of lash style examples that you like! Your artist will discuss these with you to determine the best fit for your natural lashes.
